Birth of Parshuram He was the son of wise Jamadagni and his wife Renuka. He is closely linked with the tale of birth from the heavens also. His father, Jamadagni, was an immensely respected sage, The God Of Justice Parshuram who practiced hard meditation, to which he received a mighty gift by the grace of gods. Similarly, his mother, Renuka, is known for purity and worship.

However, Parshuram was not an ordinary man in the sense of birth. It is believed that Parshuram was born with extraordinary strength and power. In his childhood only, he showed exceptional intelligence as well as courageousness. Also, he became moved by words of his father and knowledge about scriptures.
